Our vision is for dignity, hope, and purpose for women in and beyond prison. We journey with women providing the support and courage they need to navigate positive pathways and create change.

Hope Network (formerly part of Campaigners for Christ, and then called Prison Network Ministries) was formed by Myrtle Breen in 1947 to make a difference in the lives of women in prison, to hear their stories, and show them kindness. Much has changed in the prison system, but Hope Network’s dedication to the women who are, or have been incarcerated, has not. The support services provided include: Evidence shows that most women in prison have been impacted by the experience of trauma, frequently reporting histories of family violence and abuse. Hope Network understands the impact of trauma on the women we support and so have implemented several measures to ensure that all of our programs and support are trauma-informed, which in turn minimises further trauma and promotes recovery and healing.
