Youth Dimension began in 1978, as a small organisation
who worked with junior high school students across Melbourne.
Since then, Youth Dimension has not only developed its schools
work - equipping over 100 churches Australia-wide to run a lunch-time
program in their local high school - but has also developed a
number of other ministries that are helping churches to come in
contact with young Australians.
The programs Youth Dimension runs are:
- Student Focus - a voluntary lunch-time program for
junior high school students
- Senior High - a lunch-time drop in centre for year
11 & 12 students
- Solid Rock Cafe - a 10-day summer drop-in centre run
in holiday locations around Australia
- Internship - a one or two year part-time course run
for young adults, involving 1,200 hours work a year with an even
balance between practical work, spiritual input and character
development.
- Metamorf - a one-year course designed for exiting
year 12 students in a stage of transition and wanting transformation.
