The church has people actively involved in Mission organisations.

Mobile Mission Maintenance is a mission which supports other Christian missions by providing free labour and skills in the building trades. MMM does work in every Australian State and Territory, regularly goes through-out the Pacific and Asia, and as far as Africa in order to serve those who serve. Gordon Hutchinson meets with a few other MMM people to help sort out the many requests for work from Christian organisations within Victoria. Gordon also frequently goes abroad, interstate, and even locally on work parties.

The Oakover Singers is a Choir made up of folk from several churches in Melbourne. Their ministry is appreciated regularly in all suburbs. A number of folk from our church are regular participants including Gordon & Ann Hutchinson, Joan Smith, and Helen Waterworth. Helen also sings solo whenever to do so will bring praise to our Lord.

LinC stands for Love in the name of Christ and is a collaboration of many churches from the local area to provide welfare support for those struggling to stay on top. LinC tries to meet the mundane needs of the elderly or infirm, and those with temporary needs that can be met with a helping hand or listenning ear. Joan Smith and others are often called apon to provide transport, or to visit, or to cook a meal. LinC can be found through-out the world, but each group is separate and local.

We pray regularly for many missions and particular missionaries. And we also invite them to present their work during our regular services.
